The licence agreement itself may as well be written in Greek or Swahili. Or it may as well not be there at all.

But here’s the thing. If it looked good, you would read it. If it was set out like a graphic novel, you would not only read it, you would tell your friends to download the software so they could read it, too. Design is key to clear communication. You knew what this page was about within half a second of looking at it. And you had already decided that you wouldn’t read this far.

But you did anyway. Because it looks good.
